What size were you using? If the #12 doesn't work changing to a #14 or vice versa.

Do you think it would work down here? Never had a fish off a big water with a nymph yet.

Looks the sort of killer that would work anywhere in all sorts of conditions. It's got the x factor for sure!

It is never off my cast, river or loch :) Takes fish from April to September, bright sun or howling gale. It has even taken fish on the top dropper when fish are high in the water and I swap it for the surface fly which replaces it on the tail.
