I want to give a friend a Guide to Sea Fishing for Christmas. Looking for something more on techniques than places. Any advice much appreciated.

we've got a copy and although I don't sea fish other than swff, it seems to be a cracking guide

Nick Fisher guide would be perfect. As soon as i saw the name I remembered him from River Cottage programmes, for a useless cook like myself, the fishing bits were the reason i watched. Thanks for the tip off.
