The heel on the neoprene of my stockingfoot waders has worn really thin (about a 1cm square patch). There's now a small hole in the middle of this bare patch, which I have temporarily patched with a bicycle puncture repair patch. However this is rubbing off and I'm expecting a wet foot again soon. Does anyone have any solutions/suggestions (other than buying a new pair of waders!).

Thanks in advance

Have you tried Aquasure on both sides? If that doesn't work....I think they have had  it Nick.

Do you use a sock over the neoprene? That tends to take the brunt of the rubbing.

Alex
Protect the edge.

Bought some aquashure today and will now also invest in a pair of neoprene socks - thanks once again!

I have a big piece of neoprene that came with waders for repairs. if you want a bit to make a patch just send me a PM.

Any idea of price and how long it takes to change feet. I got a new pair recently but to fit the larger parts of me I had to buy a pair with feet 2 or 3 sizes bigger than I needed.
