What impressed me about the river is how clear the banks are. The rivers I fish are a nightmare of trees and whins. Not so good when it's windy I suppose but having all that casting space has to be a bonus

That is the flood plane and in winter, in the gorges down by Dalserf, Kirkfieldbank and Rosebank it is completely different.

It's certainly a lot different n Cambuslang where  Alex lives (he's moving by the way)

Great  video!
Was down that way last week! Caught hee haw but that's because I'm not a very experienced  fisherman. I've caught a few trout and grayling down there a number of years ago though with the assistance of a buddy!!! Heres John with a stonker of a grayling from that deep pool mentioned where Duneaton water enters the Clyde!
