NO, not arthritis (although that does seem to be on the horizon), I am talking about the rain, absolutely pissin it down here today, hope it continues all weekend.

Yes.....could certainly do with a good downpour to freshen things up a bit before we are allowed out to fish.

Bit different here. We were threatened with heavy rain yesterday and today but nothing yesterday and dry just now. The wind yesterday was seriously strong and more is forecast for today.

We had some rain here over the past two days, looking grim again, but it won't be enough.

At least the smolts will get out of freshwater now, and the occasional fish waiting to run will have done so. Mind you, they were safer in the sea given what has been going on. I can confirm there was (emphasis on was) a run of fish in May.
