Some feathers from various corvids are used on a few patterns. They are usually too coarse for use on most small flies. Sometimes herl from the primaries was used for "dubbing". The herl is either wrapped as a body or used as a rib.  There are lots of corvids and some are used more than others, the jackdaw being a case in point, but I have handled that separately.
