Title: Caddis larvae
Post by: muddler9 on October 20, 2010, 02:34:31 PM
Well, you can tell it's the close season. This site is about caddis grubs and the homes they build. Might provide some inspiration for creative flytyers.
I've heard that Scottish caddis build their cases with girders.   :D

Check out the links; there's one to caddis case jewelry.

Agreed, for stillwaters I never use the larva. The DHS in various sizes and colours is all I need. On rivers, though, it's an important pattern for the nymph fisher.
