Title: Wading Boot Laces
Post by: Havtafish on April 30, 2006, 10:36:30 AM
Ive always had a problem with my laces wearing out very fast on my wading boots. Brushwacking just kills them. I would think you guys tromping through the heather have the same problem? The banks on my local waters are filled with briars's which killed 4 pairs of laces last year. I went to the local engineering supply outlet and bought a pair of kevlar laces. There super tough and cut resistant. Last year my second trip out and my laces were frayed.  Have walked quite a bit through that knarley stuff this year and laces are still like new. Just something I thought I would pass on
