Title: Egg laying sedge, step by step
Post by: Hans on March 12, 2007, 04:12:42 PM
Another deer-hair pattern, used combined with Furry-foam.
Hook:             TMC 2487
Tying thraed:   Danville's 6/0
Body:              Furry foam
Wing:              Deer-hair, stackered, tied in over the body, than folded over the eye, secured with    thread, held upright by windings underneath the wing.

If used, do not attempt to grease the body, it will only increase it's weight, and not make it water-resistant. Just grease the wing.
It will float with the wing above the surface, and the body submerged.
