To some extent that is the idea. Across the XXX nations of the commonwealth the Scottish team must be (instantly) recognisable as Scottish. This does the trick, with a twist, and it is being talked about. Give me a link to the English, Welsh, Northern Irish, Australian, Canadian....... uniforms.

Its probably treason but I just cant get into this commonwealth games thing.

My wife and daughters have tickets for the gymnastics and for the opening ceremony but I don't have the slightest bit of interest in it.

Between this uniform and the new Scotland away strip is anyone ever going to take us seriously.
