Once used widely for "Davy Crockett" type fur hats. The fur varies quite a lot, even on a single skin. Quite useful for a number of things. Two pieces shown here, one from the back of the animal, with longer coarser guard hair, and the other from the side with softer finer hair. Very useful for hair hackles etc.The underfur, and mixes, also make excellent dubbing.
