Title: Zoo Cougar
Post by: Malcolm on August 27, 2011, 10:43:34 PM
I googled the zoo cougar and came up wit this 40 min demo - and in the process learned as much about deer hair as I have in all my fly tying career.

So many really simple tips in that video - like dampening the marabou to make it easier to tie in.  :D

Thanks Malcolm.
I have seen a couple of his DVD's and they are good, but the fly tying video was well worth watching.  Lots of good tips.  :D

Another thumbs-up from me. :)
Wouldn't have thought 40 minutes spent tying one fly could be as riveting, but this was just so insightful.
