Title: So what is so special about this
Post by: Malcolm on November 20, 2011, 07:28:07 PM
I wonder if it'll go for more than a Hardy Artisan!

It's just more bollocks! :)

Anybody paying 720 quid for that needs his head examined.

Some eejit will buy it.

There was another chancer selling a card of that "special colour  indispensable" wool for tying Frank Sawyer's killer bug for a similar sum a year or two back. It sold.  I wonder if the guy caught anything?

Who cares that someone bought it, I want to know how the hell it can be a 'collectible'?! What makes it so desirable as opposed to tying your own? Although going by that auction, I'd take a stab that someone sees it going up in value.

I had another look and have seen the item now. I didn't realise you had to scroll down to see it and had only seen the similars before.

That is some price for a fly though, especially one which is over 100 years old. Just think how much it would cost for a new one
