Post by: corsican dave on August 12, 2013, 08:41:49 AM
i've come across a few references to this fly, but for the life of me i can't find a decent photo of one. the nearest i've found was this: http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=LOFDXjrLkvAC&pg=PA124&lpg=PA124&dq=john+betts+fly+patterns&source=bl&ots=HbX2FxJ73W&sig=xBmX_7ZCaiSBgOPDrkjV5Pb2IOI&hl=en&sa=X&ei=jPwHUp78CoTgOviFgIAE#v=onepage&q=john%20betts%20fly%20patterns&f=false (http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=LOFDXjrLkvAC&pg=PA124&lpg=PA124&dq=john+betts+fly+patterns&source=bl&ots=HbX2FxJ73W&sig=xBmX_7ZCaiSBgOPDrkjV5Pb2IOI&hl=en&sa=X&ei=jPwHUp78CoTgOviFgIAE#v=onepage&q=john%20betts%20fly%20patterns&f=false)

in google books. anyone seen a photo anywhere or even tied (constructed) one?

failing that i'll just have to do my best from the diagram!
