Title: Bronze Peacock Eyes VS Green Peacock
Post by: Rabmax on November 02, 2013, 01:43:47 PM
Hello all.Been using quite a bit of peacock lately in a few nymph patterns .The peacock i have is more green not really bronzed in colour. The green herl nymphs i have been using sure catch there share of trout & grayling. Most patterns you see suggests using bronze peacock herl.Is it worth my while trying to get a hold of proper bronzed peacock herl.Or does bronze peacock catch more fishermen than more trout as opposed to easily obtainable green colour stuff.Cheers All :D

Think i will just stick with the green stuff then Andy.Didn't think it would matter that much to the trout & grayling.I changed the body on my peeking caddis from hares ear to peacock herl & it's become much more effective nymph pattern as a result.Cheers
