Title: Barbless saltwater hooks
Post by: Amadan on August 16, 2018, 11:53:44 PM
Hi all, so it is 8 years since my only previous post on this forum....  :crap A lot of fish since then, but still keep an eye on here and find looking through messages really useful. Feel like I should apologise for being more of a lurker than a poster.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows of a decent stainless barbless hook in sizes for saltwater fly fishing for bass / pollack?

I'm about to have my first ever saltwater fly fishing attempt (Waterford in Ireland) and have bought some flies to get started as didn't have time or materials to tie saltwater patterns. Anyway, then thinking that if I catch anything I will be hooked I started looking to see what I'd need to buy- there seems to be hardly any barbless stainless hooks of a decent enough size (I guess 4 to 2/0 or so...).

Promise I will try to post again before 2026
