Title: Quill Bodied DHE's
Post by: Wildfisher on September 21, 2006, 09:48:01 PM
With the normal DHE getting it to float the right way up is a snip. Thoroughly wet the abdomen then gink the wing /  thorax. As long as the fly is tied roughly in Bob's proportions it floats correctly. What about DHE's with a  quill body – what is the  best way to ensure they float right way up? I  have never used them, but was going to tie up a few.
