Have a look on www.youtube.com at the Davie Mcphail flyting videos. I have learnt more in the last couple of evenings watching these than i have in about the last two years! They are absolutely brilliant qulaity and easy to follow! :lol:

Been downloading these for a couple of months on to pc then on to media player, great help when tying as can play back to see I've gone wrong. :D Davie used to work at GAC and was really helpful when Josh and I started fly tying as always willing to spend time with you and also point you in right direction for materials. Isn't it great how these great fly tiers like Davie, Scotfly etc are willing to share their years of experience. :D

Davie used to work part time at Springwater in the days when i used to frequent such places.at the end of the day we would sit and watch Davie tying flies and have a blether.i swear he barely glanced at the flies he was tying once he was "in the groove"chatting away to everyone at the table.the best Ive ever seen though Ollie Edwards is a close second.

I looked at a few of the videos Tuesday 23rd all was good.
On another fly fishing forum someone criticized the way Davie spoke a few words not being to understand
the dialect. Since then the Peatymann Account is down.
I only hope Davie has taken them down to re-edit them.
