QuoteSwap you some for some tarantinos

Oops, sorry Paul. Forgot you wanted some to try. I'll have some with me next week. Remind me as I'm a useless B'stard.

Protect the edge.

How do you get the epoxy so neat - I have been trying to use the stuff and it always ends up looking all lumpy !

I also mixed it up in a plastic lid and the bottom went really hot which scared me a bit  :D

Hi Alistair,

I mix up a little batch for each head on pages of a post-it pad ( a tip I learned on your forum!).
I then apply it using the fat end of a needle, just a few generous drops at a time and turn the fly in my fingers constantly til I get the head shape I want and the epoxy becomes tacky. It's time consuming as I can only do one fly at a time but worth it in the long run.

Heading out after pike tomorrow, fingers crossed...

cheers

Paul

Alex suggested tying in a few of the fur collars, so I gave it a go

I like the look of it, has a bit of bulk to the body. More of a mouthful for a big pike.
