I Was thinking of maybe one swap for loch flies and the other for River flies,

I think that's a good idea. I'll do some river flies.

As past swaps have been very much over subscribed, and I guess that's the reason  why we are having two this time,   I'll stick with one swap only to give others the chance to grab a place in one of them.

River Chatter

If it's being split into loch or river does this mean traditional flies are to be tied to recognised recipes?

Stick me down for the river swap.
I'll probably tie a wee flexi-floss emerger.

It's a bit of an artificial distinction really - In both cases I'd just tie what I use without worrying too much about recognised  patterns.

Err..... can i buy a set of 30p cheapies and swap with all you great tiers?  :makefun I'm learning to tie flies this winter, first time tomorrow night! Watch out for the next one you lot  :D

Inchlaggan

I'll try some Loch flies- "Peter Ross" anyone? (only joking).
'til a voice as bad as conscience,
rang interminable changes,
on an everlasting whisper,
day and night repeated so-
"Something hidden, go and find it,
Go and look beyond the ranges,
Something lost beyond the ranges,
Lost and waiting for you,
Go."

Crawhin

Steve,

Put me down for the lochs section please - not sure what I'll tie yet though.

Cheers,

Ian
