I just read Ian Moutter's book 'Imitative Fly Tying', and in passing he mentions Birman Cat Hair. Now, I've been using this for a while (having actually got a birman) and it is a really nice material to use - soaks up the water so forget it for dries, but makes a really nice body for wets (caddis etc).

If anybody wants some, pm me and I'll give you my address for sae - I can supply limited quantites, but a small handful will go a looong way.
