Alan and I have done a fair bit of fishing together over the last two seasons, covered a lot of ground, fished many and varied waters.
He carries one small box of flies, I have about six boxes.
Over all, we catch about the same number of fish.

I'd still feel naked without my caenis, mayfly and bwo patterns, just happens they weren't much called for this year, claret sedgehog done the biz everywhere.  Sizes 10 - 14, an astoundingly effective fly.

Andy, some bad-boys coming your way, promise :)

I'm going to do a claret sedgehog experiment over here, I am intrigued!

Do You have a leaded or goldhead version for the times they're not on top? They did it with the daddy after all....
