Good to finally get a reply on this one, thank's Exerod,Stan's original wet daddy.
Body.Natural Raffia.
Rib.Gold wire.
Hackle.Red game, palmered from half way up the body.
Head hackle,G.P,Tippet's,thee or four turn's at the head, tied slightly back.
Tend to use Fulling mills foam real daddy as my top dropper now,but try this one sunk, pulled on the intermediate, extremely effective, often fish two late season with devastating result's  ignore at your peril  nice fly Exerod, what is it with these peter ross's  look forward to seeing your peter ross buzzer on the next swap Davy
All the best
Chris..

Sandfly,

Add a black hackle behind the grey and that is then a genuine Peter Ross spider. Keeps the barring effect.  :)
