That is a very good idea Col. The only thing I think might be a problem is the act of casting, which could work the tube free or knacker it altogether. You won't know until you try it, but it sure is a good idea.

What about this tubing Col? It's dead cheap if you want to go into mass production :-)
I don't know if it's stretchy or not though.
