Does anyone know what make and model of vice Davie McPhail uses in most of his videos?

Like this one for example. I really need a proper rotary vice.

'til a voice as bad as conscience,
rang interminable changes,
on an everlasting whisper,
day and night repeated so-
"Something hidden, go and find it,
Go and look beyond the ranges,
Something lost beyond the ranges,
Lost and waiting for you,
Go."

how much do the law vices cost?

Highlander

I believe they are to order only & there was/is a waiting list. Around £400+ if I remember right all be it some years ago.
Think Scotfly & Andrew Moray who post here have one.
They are well thought off as The Rolls Royce of vices by those thay own or indeed hanker for one.

Well at £400 + forget it. I think Snowbee do a Waldrorn vice that is highly thought of for a lot less

Not a lot less Fred, we are talking £299 list. A lot of money for a factory made unit to my mind.

And probably a Chinese factory at that. Not that there is anything wrong with Chinese factory goods as long as you are not paying UK factory prices!  :D
