Anyone used this stuff?

This is a sample  of long haired pile faux fur fabric I bought on Ebay for evaluation. It cost under 2 quid. You can find suppliers on Ebay by searching on "faux fur"

It is very fine, strong, soft and mobile acrylic fibre, comes in  a load of colours and a few quid will buy you enough to make a fur coat as opposed to a small fortune buying you a square inch once repackaged as fly tying material.

Anyone tried it, is it any good?

I tied up this bait fish, but have not tried it yet.

Looks alright Fred but it will depend on how mobile it is when wet and whether it clogs together or not. It may also cause the fly to float :)
Don't worry, be happy.

Carried it in full, then carry it out empty.

This stuff is good as well, you can get it on hobbycraft
I use it as streamer tails and to dub bodies, it is good in water and would work great in conjunction with other materials
