Glare is what gets me I'd struggle to  see a duck in glare. I had a serious eye disorder and could not fish dry fly at all for many years. Hardly worth fishing to be honest.  I'd likely have packed up fishing altogether if I had been stuck much longer only being able to chuck out wet flies and haul them back.  It don't rate it as the most interesting way to fish.

I like anorexic flies, thinner the better, i think they behave like the real thing better on the water, the only problem is i need a massive tuft to see them these days
