Cheers raider, just don't tell the wife I'm into porn I did think it had the look of a salmon fly when I finished it, I don't have the luxury of fishing for loch salmon but nice style of fly to tie

Yeah that's the stuff, it's a Frankie mcphail pattern and his seals fur, it's black with really dark blue through it looks similar to the stuff you used, shows up well under light.
