Enthused by some success with a translucent red glass bead head I knocked up a few Root Beer brown beetles, see comparison in photo below with the red head type.
"Root Beer" beetle .... ???? ..... that was name of the brownish amber colour for the beads !! The light seems to glow through these beads unlike a solid coloured bead.

Should have said - the red head is a 12 and the Root Beers are 14s.
