I think it was Jim "Rannoch Raider" who suggested this as a topic. Just a peak inside the fly boxes you carry.

I carry up to 3 boxes.

1. Wets & Nymphs
A small double sided box, one side with nymphs and grubs of various weights and sizes, the other more conventional loch style flies etc

2. Dries including  terrestrials.
A cheap, light double sided compartment box with dries in various style inc. terrestrials.

3. Streamers etc
A small foam lined box with woolly buggers, streamers of various sizes and weights.

I also have a tiny box with CDC flies in my fly vest that I seldom use.

The above covers me for rivers and lochs home and abroad.

Best part is the small waterproof box which was £1 from Ebay. Just put some sticky foam in and it works a treat. Fits into small pockets which is what I wanted

That Duckling 'Fly' is outrageous Dave ! Think of the effect that thing could have on a passing child.

In contrast a box of Clyde Flies,  small dark side of the box for spring trouting. The lighter summer patterns not shown in photo.

Corsican Dave ..... when you finally hang up your rods and waders, you could take that lot down the Garden Centre the following December, and sell them with the Christmas Decorations!
well, that would be the cycle complete...
