This is a big strong flee for a good wave.

Size 8.
Tail - Two turns of bright green wool or floss
Body - 6 or 7 strands of peacock herl (I said it was big)
Wing - Any well marked brownish feather.  I use hen pheasant centre tail.
Hackle - 6 or 7 turns of red game.  The bigger the better.

How to fish it.  Three on a cast.  Long fast strips in a good wave.  Hold on tight.

When the sedges are on it must be deadly. Do you gink it up or fish it sub surface  :?  :?

Thanks for the picture Piscatus
