When Katie met Bibio plus white hare's lug real monicker

I'll vouch for White Van Man's idea of an inebriated section.
3rd attempt at getting this one away.  Damn fine whisky though.

I'm looking for a few guinnea pigs to try ou a "new" flee.
I'll claimit as mine  :idea:  although I guess it's already been t(r)ied before.
I was tying up a standard Bibio i.e black seals fur with claret spot, and silver wire ribbing only to find that my black cape is fecked :evil: .  Looking for a dark alternative I tied a palmered furnace with a white head hackle.
It looks damn fine and a 1
1/2 pound trooty at a wee loch I was fishing thought so too.
I've kind of named it the Kate bibio as it rather looks like an illigitimate crossing of both.
Anybody willing to try it out in the last few weeks :?:

On "new" patterns, it turns out my white hare's lug is in fact a light Grey Duster.  I use the whitest fur from a hare's lug whith a fine silver ribbing and a couple of turns of badger hackle (size 16 max) and fish it wet when "le petit merde" (damn good name for Caenis) are oot 'n' aboot.  Well worth a go.

Fred I tied up a few Kate McBibio's.  Do you want some sent up for the Crask trip?  If I cannae go mibbae my flee will catch something :roll:
What's the best way for sending flees?  Don't anybody send back "Airmail".
