As its the end of the season and time to put away the gear I thought you might fancy another Fly swap
Just register by adding your reply below.
If you have never entered a Wild fishing Scotland fly swap before here is how it works.
Simply reply to this thread and when we have between 10 and 15 members interested start tying, you tie one fly for each entrant, send them to me with a large SAE.
I will organise everything else.

Quotebut it'll probably be a DHE of some sort
A Peter Ross/DHE hybrid?
Come on now Smurf, you know it makes sense :D

Think I'll do a Peter Ross / Diawl Bach hybrid.

What a killer that would be eh……….

New to fly swaps so mibbe a stoopid question...

Looking through the posts I gather that I have to tie the same pattern for everyone, right?

Could I ask that together with your flies you enclose both a SAE and your user name.

With the new post office letter system  it will  be a problem knowing the value of stamps to use. Letters are now charged on thickness and size as well as weight. It'll depend on how you pack them and send them back. Would it not be better for everyone  to stick in say – 60 pence in 3 x 20 coins and an address label that can be stuck / sellotaped  on?

Yes, if there are 15 folk  you tie 14 x a single pattern (that way you don't get one of your own back).

As they don't need to be in until the end of November (after the end of the Salmon season) - I'm up for tying a few flies (assuming you've not hit the 15 yet).

Have we settled on a theme yet, or is it just a random mix? :?
