October 2006 Fly Swap Flies

My dads bailed out at the last minute. He's been really busy at the moment and hasnt found the time to tie them. In my opinion he's just being lazy, but its him thats missing out in the end. My flies are going in the post monday morning, sorry for the lateness but i was waitng for my dad to tie his.

Any idea what we should do with them?

A few suggestions

1. Give them to Bandy Catcher – he needs all the help he can get to catch a fish 
2. Send them to Swithun – it might help him forget the daily torment and anguish of being English for a few minutes. 
3. If there are any really bushy ones send them to Boo or Richy and they can glue them to their heids as a hair substitute 
4. Send them to Vladamir Romanov they say he's a bit of a fly-man 
5. Best option - send them to Dod to say thanks for his generous donation to the forum a  few weeks back (OK he is from Elgin but no one's perfect)

Either that or we let Steve keep them for going to all the bother of being middle man for the swap.

I lost a fly box this year , but if Peter the Pupil (casting lesson tomorrow - he's giving me the lesson) happens to get the thumbs up, I promise to pass on the full bhoona rather than just the crap which I don't use.

Got the flies, thanks a lot guys.  I was particularly interested in the DHE, I just can't get them to work.  Thought mine might be complete different from the rest but from what I see they look similar - just much smaller.  Obviously the troots like em big!  Thanks again for the flies, can't wait to use them.
