No to sure about his background or anything but had heard his name mentioned a few times. ties flies of an unbelievable quality though. truly a master of the art

Been downloading these for a couple of months on to pc then on to media player, great help when tying as can play back to see I've gone wrong.   Davie used to work at GAC and was really helpful when Josh and I started fly tying as always willing to spend time with you and also point you in right direction for materials.  Isn't it great how these great fly tiers like Davie, Scotfly etc are willing to share their years of experience.
