Am I right in thinking that closed cell foam is the best to use when tying this pattern?I tied a batch up last season using the foam you buy in coloured sheets from the Angling Centre, but they were poor floaters.In a previous thread Alex and Col mentioned using foam from sandals and garden knee pads but I wondered if anyone could suggest a specific foam for tying these flies?

The most important thing is, when using foam:
Do not compress the foam, as you will press the air out, thus decreasing it's ability to float...
