Have noticed a few flies being tied using goose biots for the body and as I have a couple of packets thought I might try some.  Probably a stupid question but do you use the small biots that you would use as a tail or cheeks for the body?  The ones I have look really small to make a body.

Thanks buzz, couldn't figure out how you could make a body from something that small.  That's another item added to my list of material I'll need to get.

Turkey biot body. Shite hook.

PS - two cdc feathers tied in with the tips pointing one way, and the thick end the other, partly dubbed over  then  folded back  i.e. ending up with four equal clipped "stems" pointing back the way. Works OK as long as the stalks aren't too thick, and you aren't bothered about a perfect looking wing . In case gavceltic's looking  :wall2. There are loads of ways you can tie in a CDC wing.

Thanks .D. that's the kind of body I had in mind.
