Fishtales

You could sharpen them as long as they aren't damaged.

I've used fine files, whet stones and my kitchen knife sharpener on scissors.
Don't worry, be happy.

They're still very useable but I'm going to have to replace them soon and was wondering what you guys are using and would be interested in any recommendations as to what's best out there right now ?

About a year ago I watched a superb film called the Putter on Vimeo. It featured the work of one Cliff Denton who literally is a putter "togetherer" of scissors for Ernest Wright and Son in the 'Steel City' of Sheffield. This film had a massive impact on their business as people realised the skill and craft put into these hand finished scissors produce by Cliff and his colleagues.

Entirely influenced by this video I bought a pair of these fellas :

Superb precise scissors which I suspect with care. love and attention that they may well serve me the rest of my days and in doing so will give me the satisfaction of knowing that they were made with the care, love and attention by craftsmen  :D. Highly recommended.

Sadly my 7' 5 weight that killed fascists is deceased!
