Alternative to fishing vest?

Saw this in a magazine and thought it might make an interesting alternative to a fishing vest especially for those who walk some distance to their waters.

Looks interesting.  In my constant drive to reduce weight and clutter I recently bough this very cut down vest from good old Jeff. So far so good.

I still use a Greys waistcoat but for a drink I carry a Camelback, gives me plenty to drink without noticing the weight of it, it goes on you back like a very small rucksack.
