I have seen a pattern dressed by Steffan Jones from South Wales and decided to put a different spin on it. His is a wonderful offering but a little on the 'plump' side. Sea trout in the Lune like skinny arsed patterns.

Hook: Daiichi - Hans Van Klinken Bomber Size 8 black
Thread: Black
Body: Black floss
Rib: Extra fine silver wire
Body hackle: Upper - red rump hackle from a golden pheasant skin, lower - yellow breast hackle from the same bird
Wing: Bronze mallard slips
Front hackle: Purple dyed grizzle Chickabou
