Title: To all New Members
Post by: Fishtales on June 27, 2023, 10:37:20 AM
If you are a new member and haven't posted why not? Let us know in this poll to see if there is something we can do to get new input for the forum or it will just stagnate.

If you do answer the poll thank you for your time.

Sooo!! Do we delete all you new users because you can't even answer a simple poll?

There have been six this year and three have become members so not many but looking back there are a lot registered but few actually became members.

If you click on the members button at the top and click on the date column and click newest first you will see (unless that is only for the Admins :) )

New members registration was switched off from January right up until we decided not to close the forum in May. We also get far fewer trolls from "other forums" now since the software updates which prevents them from registering. It works very well.

Two days to go and no input so New 'Members' don't mind losing their membership it would seem.

People very often join forums just to have a look. Once they realise they can't see the better stuff here  without making the effort they either make the effort or fade away. We don't get  trouble  on here because it's a tight ship, this also means we get fewer posts of course. Better that than the infantile bickering that makes some  "other forums"  look like the chimp enclosure at Edinburgh Zoo come feeding time.  ;)

Thank you but you are safe as there are some who didn't take the time to post in the introduction forum and they are now gone :)

That's the membership trimmed ;D

Anyone who hasn't been online up to three years ago and those with less that one post, except the past year, are toast.

Good work Sandy. No point in having accounts that have not been used for years. The posts are still there as "guest"  :)

That's fine. They were very special people.  :)
