Title: River Don Trust River Survey
Post by: diverdave on July 01, 2010, 10:29:02 PM
I took part in a river survey with Don Trust biologist Jamie Urquhart. I found it very interesting, details can be found here:

Works fine for me Dave. Excellent stuff.

If you need any help in the field with anything like this (even if it's just a labourer you need )  let me know and I'll see what I can do.

This forum is a positive supporter of the  work  you guys do and always willing to help in any way we can.

That is really good to know, as charitys often struggle for assistance.

Jamie welcomes anyone who is interested to join him on his habitat work, i have done a number of these and it is both informative and enjoyable. They vary from a leisurly strole to serious hiking. We are in habitat survey season at the moment and i believe are moving into electrofishing season, which for me is facinating.

If you are interested in joining Jamie contact him via our website, www.riverdon.org.uk

The intention is to support the massive effort made by people like yourself and  Iain.  People who very obviously walk the walk have my deepest respect. In any case there is enough empty talk, negativity and bizarre nonsense goes  on without us adding to it.
