Well done Billy - fame at last. Shame they didn't mention your motor home though.

I haven't bought a fishing mag. for ages. I can even remember where and when. T&S - February 2012 - Manchester Airport.

Is FF&FT still on the go or has it gone deservedly  bust?  :D

They might at least have offered you a decent size of landing net as a prize.    :D
Do they not do a "trout of the month" that you could go for?

Well done Billy.
You can get two years subscription to T & S just now for the price of one year. No, I didn`t go for it! They would need to pay me to read the rubbish in that magazine!

edit....need to read what I write before posting.  :D

They do Vaughan but my mate left to go home about half an hour before I hooked up. You need a witness and I have (if you pardon the pun) cast it up to him several times.
In fact I had to buy a new net as my wee wooden one broke. I'm blaming the size of the fish but it was about 13 years old so it served me well and will soon take pride of place on the wall of my man cave.

FF&FT is still going strong.

Need to know what page Lochanloads offspring is on. Makes it well worth buying then.

I actually though there would be a rush for signed copies of the mag. You guys are hard to please.

Taff.

I thought I knew the wee mans face.
It never clicked with me who he was.

Well done to him.

Two signatures on a copy and it might be worth a good few bob in a few years.

He looks just like me. Same haircut but in my case the middle section is "more open to the weather"

I note in this months issue T&S & Trout Fisherman have amalgamated. Not for me anymore not that I was still buying it but my good lady bought me a copy to while away a few hours whilst I self isolate.
Bad enough with Headly  now we have Rob Edmunds nuff said about him the better.
Tight Lines

PS Glad you are getting a "bigger net" You might carry it for years without needing it but when that big fish is hooked you will be glad you did.
Well done on the biggest fish I went 30 years till I got mine. A wild 24" 6lb fish caught on a size 16 Cinnamon Sedge dry from Balgray Reservoir in Renfrewshire I have caught bigger but that fish remains my best.
