Just heard the first skein of geese flying over the house heading north :)
Don't worry, be happy.

scobo

Saw a couple of buzzards getting harassed by crows yesterday when out with the dug.
I take it the crows must be getting ready to nest.

Just heard that the forecast next week in the run up to The Glorious 15th is looking good.  :8)

loch coulter

heard the blackies singing about fortnight ago.

Fishtales

Our back garden has been a war zone for a few weeks now. Two male Dunnocks fighting and chasing females; Robin chasing them; the Wrens are back, only see them from now and through the summer; two male blackies having a squabble, there are about half a dozen singing their hearts out at 04:00 over the past few days; male pigeons fighting and the odd male Starling standing in the middle of the lawn trying to sing.
Don't worry, be happy.

Was watching Ravens yesterday at Stirling displaying by diving upside down one seemed suicidal as he kept getting close to the ground before righting and spreading wings to fly up a 100ft to repeat.

River Chatter

Magpies round my way busy building nests and various birds singing through the night... we're in the home straight guys!  Heard the weather report too and hoping for the best for a week on Saturday.  :)

hopper

Rooks round here are gathering sticks, and the blue tits have been having a look in the bird box with the camera in it.

Harpo

I hear the chattering and signing of birds when I leave for work in the morning.
That's the sound of trout fishing for me, early season with the calls of nesting birds in the trees

Fishtales

What's the water temperature like Andy? Expect some movement when it gets above 6°C.
Don't worry, be happy.
