Now i am not up on my entomology so i am wandering if anyone here can tell me what this is please.

i am sitting in my bedroom and i was hearing a lot of splashing coming from the pond. I looked out my window to the pond to see a few flies , and this fellow was on my bedroom window.

A caddis fly - sometimes called a sedge fly. No idea which one, cinnamon?

it is the first time i have seen these from my pond , no wander the fish are going nuts this evening lol.

evening rise in my own back garden lol.... think even my river gear is over sized my back garden is to small to cast in.


Just had a small morning hatch of more caddis flies, and the fish were enjoying it lol.
