Hey! I'm a very keen fly dresser, but is searching for the ORIGINAL recipe for the brown turkey (salmon fly)
Anyone have an idea of what it consists of??

:D :D HP :D :D

Fishtales

Brown Turkey

Tag :           Silver

Tail :            Topping

Body :          (Orange or Yellow), Red, (Black or Blue) Seal Fur

Rib :             Silver

Hackle :         Blue or Ginger

Wing :           Brown Hen or Turkey

I have no idea where I got that from, it is written in my 'old tyings' book with no reference :)
