Honour, truth, and justice, all these three,
save men from barbarism, keep them free.
Some men, may scheme, and cheat, and lie,
but, just as honest men, they too must die,
unlike honest men, they live and die in chains,
and so, at last, lose even their ill gotten gains.
A sack of gold, great riches, when their sojourn ends,
are naught, compared to gentle words, from friends.
