Coupled with a tarp to keep kit dry that would be ideal! Dread to think the price though!

My Tiger Paws goes up just as quick, has just as many pieces and has more room :)

I was wondering as to the bulk and weight of the whole rolled up assembly ...  :? :?

"The sleep cell weighs in between 8.6 and 9.5 lb (3.9 and 4.3 kg), depending upon the weight of liner you select. The bivouac module spikes total weight range up to 9/9.9 lb (4.1/4.5 kg), and the tent brings it to 10.6/11.5 lb (4.8/5.2 kg)."

There are certainly some very good hooped bivvy tent/bags. The American made Big Agnes tents and tarps have quite a growing number of followers and I know two at least who swear by their stuff.

Last time I had a bivvy out was on the top of Cir Mhor on Arran and a very fine night's kip it was till we were woken by a group of stags snuffling about to see what these heaps on the ground were on their patch.
