Title: Fly Fishing Wales A New UK Forum Is Born
Post by: Wildfisher on April 29, 2016, 12:26:26 PM
Just before I headed off to Spain I received an invite to join a new forum set up as an alternative to Fly Fishing Forums.

Here is the URL

http://www.flyfishing.wales/forum/ (http://www.flyfishing.wales/forum/)

It's called Fly Fishing Wales, but is in fact UK wide.

These guys are offering a set up similar to Fly Fishing Forums, without the downsides of bad behaviour, poor performance and commercialism.

Please consider joinng and giving them your support. There is a dire need for a UK wide alternative to Fly Fishing Forums and given your support this could be it. They just need to reach a critical mass to make it all work.

Who is actually in charge on the new forum?

Ex Fly Forums members?  :D

Depending on what happens immediately after the Salmon Fishing Forum is taken over by FFF, there is a chance this new forum will get a lot of new members.
I imaging the hoardes banned by Springer from SFF will be a bit disruptive after the takeover, leving the more sensitive members upset.  :D

Too many different factions - the good thing about faceplant is that it has drawn a huge number of people away from forums (fora?)

I still go on FFF and was invited to look for this one. That's it for me, other than the Anglers Aflot kayak fishing group, which I have been on since 2006. The other problem is all the changes, not being techy minded, if something changes that is me snookered and I drop out.
