I passed the test, the prize was a lovely little story. 

Fishing is timeless, tackle etc may change but what grasps and makes us mad keen fishermen does not.

I was trying to find references to the dulnain and couldn't believe it when that leapt out! :D it's quite compelling, isn't it

Now that sounds like my kind of loch! I used to work with a chap who had a 'secret' loch only he knew surrounded by trees in the Black Isle that help 6lb trout!  :lol: he never did take me there!

You could always check out the Marl Burn which runs into the River Avon. Massive outwash pile of marl there and a limestone cliff outcrop nearby.
